So? It's not like it changes anything about him. Sex wasn't an important part of the series, so the sexual preferences aren't important. After all, his brother prefers goats. Or should we say "interspecies romance?"
I'm glad JK Rowling is trying to do her part for gay rights by outing a bloved character who may or may not have had a love affair with one of the most evil dark wizards of all time. But it changes nothing for me - I still love Dumbledore, and don't think it matters that he liked the 'magic wands'. Perhaps this is what Rowling was going for - we all love Dumbledore, and his sexual preference shouldn't change that; if it does, we're worse people than we thought.
