I think that I have to give this one to The Flash. I can't think of any way that Capt. Reynolds can outdo him. I see Kaylee and Jayne taken out almost immediately, before Kaylee can rig anything up to thwart the Scarlet Speedster. Mal and Zoe will have a plan, but simply won't have time to implement it.
Yeah, Mal's awesome, but there's just no way he can top either Jay, Barry, Wally, or even Bart. If Mal knew about him ahead of time, he might be able to rig something up, but even then the chances of it working are pretty slim. (Insert caption box with a finger pointing to Flash as the winner).
I think that Mal is pretty much utterly out of his league here. Mal is big on enduring things. He can take a licking and get up after it. However, he's only human. His gun only shoots bullets. He's just this guy.
The Flash is a god amoung men. He has the ability to tap into a power that makes him more deadly then River or a pack of Reavers. He has the ability to bend space and time with a treadmil. A treadmil. Any one of the Flash family would, litterally, run circles around Mal, rabbit punching him the whole time. While Mal would try to rattle off a few shots here and there, he just couldn't keep up.
After about a minute or two, Mal is going to be on his ass, sans clothes, and wondering what the gorram just happened. He's also probably going to be lacking whatever shiny objects he had been stealing when the Scarlet Speedster decided to foil him. The Flash is just going to be wondering how the hell this guy ended up nekkid.
Oy, sadly I have to go with the Flash, much as it pains me. Mal has no superpowers. At all. He's just damn cool. The Flash, as noted before, can bend time with a treadmill (seriously?). Flash for the win.
I see it as, Flash runs up and hits Mal in the jaw before he can even draw his gun. Mal drops as the Flash turns to go about his business having easily dispatched a mere train robber. Mal then, having been hit far harder than that throughout his career, but who is smart enough to stay down, then shoots the Flash in the back.
Mal wins!
