Cutting an avocado for guacamole tonight, my knife slipped and made a significant cut in my left thumb. I just got back from the ER where I got the first two stitches of my life (not counting the ones for my wisdom teeth, etc.) and a rather dispropotionately sized bandage.

Glad you're ok, and believe me, it could have been much worse. You could have had that happen just before Convergence. ;)
I bet they gave you a tetnus shot as well. Those also suck.

Avocadoes are deadly. You should avoid them at all cost. They seem friendly enough, but they'll turn on you without warning. I always cross to the other side of the street when I see one on the sidewalk.
That's...quite an interesting shape there.
You poor lil Annie. You should do what we do when you want guacamole, just call Mark!
